Interactive hybrid event
The European Silk Road Summit 2021 took place in hybrid form, which means we have physical participants and participants joining online. We brought together 250 rail freight professionals in this way. The event took place in a digital event platform which made it possible to involve all participants and provide networking possibilities with all participants.
At the European Silk Road Summit 2021 we expect to welcome 300 rail freight professionals within the industry worldwide. With this number of participants it will be the biggest edition so far. You can attend the event either physically in Amsterdam or join us digitally via a livestream.

New collaboration seeks more volumes between China-Russia
Transport volumes between mainland China and Russia have growth potential. The same applies to the volumes between Chinese and Russian Far East ports with an extension to rail. TransContainer aims to boost them even more with a memorandum of understanding with two Chinese rail companies.
Empty wagon train rolls through CIS countries with only electronic bill
A test shipment of empty cars using only electronic consignment notes has been carried on the broad gauge section of the New Silk Road. The train left Brest on 9 November, and made it to the Chinese border of Dostyk/Altynkol. It was operated by UTLC ERA.
TransContainer launches record-breaking Far East train
TransContainer puts rail at the forefront of intercontinental transport once again. This time it connected Korea to Poland via Russia and Ukraine. The new train service was launched in cooperation with Korean Pantos Logistics and Polish PKP LHS.
