COVID-19 measures at the European Silk Road Summit
RailFreight.com organizes congresses and meetings for the transport and logistics sector. The safety and health of our clients, partners, exhibitioners and employees is very important to us. We closely follow the developments regarding the coronavirus and we follow the guidelines set by the experts from the World Health Organization, RIVM and the Dutch Government.
The new set of COVID-19 measures announced by the Dutch Government on the 12th of November have limited impact for B2B events taking place in Amsterdam, so our doors will safely open on 7 and 8 December.
Successful events including interaction
Various measures are in place to build a successful and safe event. These measures have been set to ensure the safety and health of everyone involved but also to make sure that visiting, sharing knowledge and networking can be done in the best way possible. We have taken care to build a strong concept around the guidelines set by the government.
The following measures will be taken at our congresses and meetings:
- You have to show a valid QR-code (vaccination or negative rest result) at the registration desk
- Providing disinfecting gel
- Providing mouth masks
- Securing sufficient distance
- No handshake policy
- Live stream tickets are available
Valid QR code at the registration desk
In order to enter the conference you have to show a valid QR-code (either by a full vaccination or a negative test result) at the registration desk at the event. For foreign participants, this is also needed to enter The Netherlands. Please find the measures and a check-list of the Dutch government when entering the country here.
Live stream tickets are available
Are you not able or not allowed to travel to Amsterdam? We will live-stream the entire event so that you can join from your home or office. After the event you will also receive a replay link, to view the parts you might have missed. Please find more information on the costs and how to register on the registration page.
Measures
Please take care of the following measures while visiting:
- Please respect a distance of 1.5 meters to others
- Disinfect your hands upon entry and during your attendance
- Do not shake hands
- Stay at home if you have a cold, cough, sore throat and/or high temperature
- It is mandatory to wear a face mask inside the conference venue, except while eating or drinking while sitting down

We will make sure the European Silk Road Summit 2020 will be safe for everybody involved. We will follow government directions and will communicate any and all possible adjustments to our clients.
