A hetedik kiadásra ‘Hidakat építve, hálózatot bővítve’ címmel 2023. november 29. és december 1. között kerül sor Budapest, Magyarországon. Az Európai Selyemút Csatlakozásoktól a Hálózat Bővítéséig Konferencia minden olyan szakember számára kötelező, aki tevékenykedik a Selyemúton és annak kapcsolódó hálózatában. Bár a fő útvonal továbbra is létezik, az elmúlt néhány évben helyet kapott az alternatívák, ob bypassok és új együttműködések is. Míg az eurázsiai folyosó uralkodik, kapcsolatokat teremtenek észak és dél között is.
Az 2023-as Európai Selyemút Csatlakozásoktól a Hálózat Bővítéséig Konferencián a fő útvonalat és a Közép Folyosót vizsgáljuk. Rátekintünk a Közép-Kelet-Európai régióra és a Balkán régióra. Megvizsgáljuk Európa több kapuját, valamint a Közép-Ázsia és a geopolitika szerepét a mai folyosók kialakításában.

Infographic: Eurasian rail freight traffic in 2023
The rail freight volumes on the Middle Corridor are only a minor share of the volumes on the main route of the New Silk Road. However, the Middle Corridor volumes grew exponentially, while the main route on the New Silk Road saw only a small increase. Another such ambiguity? While business on the main route could be better, transit times have been at an all-time low (which is a good thing).
